We are now offering Rendever: VR Connections! It is a virtual reality experience for older adults. Come check it out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. in the Computer Lab!
Experience the world like never before! Rendever brings immersive virtual reality experiences to seniors, enabling travel, exploration, and meaningful connections.
Rendever, a virtual reality (VR) experience for older adults, is an evidence-based program designed to overcome social isolation through the power of positive, shared experiences. Supported by the National Institute on Aging and the National Academy of Medicine, Rendever has more than 20 clinical studies demonstrating its ability to connect people to the world through an individualized or shared immersive experience.
Activities include:
– Revistiting meaningful memories, including national sites, virtual walking tours, and guided meditation.
– Activity guides educate and offer travel experiences in arts and entertainment, culture, nature, adventure, and athletics.
– Leveled programs support sensitivity for those new to the VR experience.
