History

The Hillsdale County Senior Services Center was founded in 1983 and is continually growing to serve older adults in and around Hillsdale County by keeping them at-home, independent, and involved in the community.

The Perennial Park Campaign has come a long way since we started the project in 2001. The long range vision to improve the quality of life for Hillsdale County residents is moving along. Your gift is a lasting tribute, and with the help of charitable gifts we will be able to realize our dreams. For further information on services or giving to the Perennial Park Campaign, please contact Maggi Monroe, Executive Director, at 517-437-2422 ext. 127. Our goal is to keep seniors in their homes for as long as possible.

Our campaign has completed:

  • The lower level of the Center’s building at 320 West Bacon
  • Multi-purpose room to expand Adult Day Respite Program.
  • Adding lockers, showers and changing rooms to the Fitness Center.
  • Adding Computer Lab/Reference library.
  • Adding two offices.
