Personal Care Services is a program developed to assist seniors with personal hygiene needs. Services are provided from one to three times per week. If you or a loved one is handicapped or disabled and unable to do tasks independently, you may qualify. Contact Perennial Park for specific program requirements. Our goal is to keep seniors in their homes for as long as possible.
Personal Care Services are available evenings, weekends, and during holidays. Personal Care Aides may assist with the following:
- Bathing, sponge baths, hair care, skin care, oral hygiene, and shaving.
- Reminders to take medication.
- Transfers from bed, chair, or commode.
- Light cleaning, if time allows.
- Simple meal preparation.
