Respite is a program to provide a break for caregivers, allowing them to go out while knowing their loved one willl be cared for.
This program is available to any adult 18 years and older. Costs for services are based on income. Those who meet certain eligibility criteria may receive services on a donation basis. Respite Aides may assist with or provide the following:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with transfers
- Assist with simple meal preparation or eating
- Assist with ambulation
- Perform homemaking tasks
- Supervise client activity
- Provide companionship
